
Kate Galliers is the Director of Media Production at CRAFT | Media / Digital
Galliers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and Journalism from The George Washington University. She is originally from Sandusky, Ohio and comes to CRAFT | Media / Digital after several years of professional and academic experience in advanced multimedia communication.
Upon arriving in Washington, Galliers undertook a two-year paid internship with Steptoe and Johnson LLP followed by an internship with the Department of Justice, Office of Public Affairs. Galliers further developed her multimedia skillset through an internship with MSNBC’s Chief Washington Correspondent, Norah O’Donnell and National Geographic Television. Her professional experience in communications and public relations developed a keen sense of how vital a multimedia approach is in today’s political climate.
While at GW, Galliers contributed to the university’s monthly broadcast and the Planet Forward Live community. Courses in international politics, economics and American government supplemented her courses in journalism to give her an international perspective on the political realm. Galliers was also a member of the 2007 Colonial Cabinet, GW’s award-winning orientation program.
