Sridhar specializes in back-end web development, server implementation, benchmarking system performance, and implementing alternate hardware and software architectures. He also manages quality assurance and product testing features.
Sridhar comes to CRAFT from DCI Group, where he developed open-source CMS websites (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal), including creating templates, developing custom modules and plug-ins to support various functionalities. He also created web applications and websites for mobile devices.
Prior to DCI, Sridhar was a graduate teaching assistant at George Mason University, where he was also an application programmer. He designed an iOS application to guide people with cognitive disabilities, performed user acceptance and browser compatibility testing, designed iPad applications for evaluation and data collection, and gained experience in multimedia editing, web development, organizing and providing support for technical events.
From 2007 to 2008, Sridhar was employed by Citigroup Global Services in Mumbai as a Senior Technical Associate. In this role, he mapped business requirements and translated those requirements into functional software specifications and detailed test plans. Before joining Citigroup, he worked for Benq-Siemens in Mumbai as a Software Engineer.
Shankar holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
In his spare time, Sri loves adventure sports and is a die-hard cricket fan.
