About
Loren has over five years of editing and animating experience. Having fallen in love with the connective power of storytelling through student journalism in college, he took his hobby of photography and video editing into the professional scene as a self-taught freelancer in California. Having worked at a video agency in LA as well as several years as an assistant editor at Freethink Media, he blends deadline-driven creativity with meticulous consideration for workflow and organization.
Loren graduated with a BA in Communication and minored in Psychology and Critical Studies. He studied photography in Lithuania during his studies, and after college volunteered for nearly a year in South Africa at a nonprofit assisting refugees.
Outside of work, Loren keeps himself occupied with seemingly endless topics and interests: the history of urban design, functionality of exercise and body, photography (now more a hobby than a job), architecture, and cooking. You might catch him on a run in the morning, at a Liverpool bar on the weekend, or reading on his balcony in the evening.
