Nick Maggio is Vice President of Public Affairs at CRAFT Media/Digital.
He is a senior strategist who helps organizations navigate complex external challenges. His work spans reputation management, advocacy, and brand affinity campaigns that foster more favorable business, policy, and media environments for his clients to succeed.
Nick is both a strategist and a tactician. He works closely with clients to define success, identify where they can win and create leverage, and chart a clear, focused path forward. He also creates content and messaging for diverse formats and audiences. His work appears in op-eds, digital campaigns, and other public-facing content that shapes media coverage and public opinion.
He is also a trusted media advisor to senior executives. He prepares them for high-stakes interviews and presentations, and helps them strengthen their online presence through thoughtful, consistent social media content that reflects their voice and expertise.
Nick has advised clients including DoorDash, Walmart, Expedia Group, Cigna, 2U, the National Association of Manufacturers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Mosaic Company, and the National Pork Producers Council.
His career began in market research, focus group-testing television ads for Mazda, Amgen, and SC Johnson. That hands-on work was formative training in how consumers think and how to align strategy with creative execution.
Nick attended James Madison University, where he earned his degree in Public Policy and met his now-wife Maddie. Outside of work, he keeps up with technology, politics, and fantasy football, and winds down with Bravo reality shows alongside Maddie and their cat, Joan.
